ARA-290, also named Cibinetide (CAS: 1208243-50-8), is an 11-amino-acid synthetic peptide derived from the Helix B domain of Erythropoietin (EPO). It is engineered to selectively activate the Innate Repair Receptor (IRR, EPOR/βc heterodimer complex) while completely eliminating the hematopoietic function of EPO, thus avoiding polycythemia and thrombotic risks caused by original EPO. Presented as white lyophilized powder with HPLC purity ≥99%, it features good water solubility and the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier efficiently. Widely applied in laboratory researches including diabetic peripheral neuropathy, small fiber neuropathic pain, chronic inflammatory disorders, ischemic organ injury, stress-induced depression, spinal cord nerve regeneration and apical periodontitis repair.
